Modern Daguerreotypes in Skylight Gallery 21

In addition to its usual array of 19th century photography, the upcoming Skylight Gallery 21 online and catalog sale will feature an unusual assortment of modern daguerreotypes. Included are a nude study by Robert Schlaer, a view of storm clouds above the World Trade Center by Jerry Spagnoli, solarized woodland scene by Gregory Popovitch, a bequerel-process daguerreian photogram by Lori Oden, and a subtly hand-colored "Homage to Daguerre" by Mike Robinson. Also included are other non-daguerreian alternative-process prints by Kevin Klein and Lori Oden.

The Skylight Gallery sale is taking place in the context of Online Photography Week.
