Maggs Plates for Canadian National Portrait Gallery

Mike recently completed two quarter plate daguerreotypes of Canadian artist Arnaud Maggs. Combining frontal and profile views, these plates pay homage to Maggs own portrait work. The plates were produced under commission from the National Archives of Canada and will enter the collection of Canada's National Portrait Gallery, scheduled to open in 2004.
